No Ordinary Love

No Ordinary Love Original Paining
Acrylic and Glass Canvas 48" X 36"

A self-portrait layered with diamond dust, No Ordinary Love explores the quiet tension between strength and unraveling. Inspired by Sade’s song of the same name, the figure’s pose draws from the emotional language of a love that is consuming, vulnerable, and difficult to contain. Her face remains composed, while her eyes suggest something more unsettled beneath the surface—a negotiation between love, self-doubt, longing, and the desire to be truly seen. The work is not about rescue, but recognition: a portrait of the moments we appear whole while quietly coming undone.
